Uncut Jams last dance of the year with none other than Metronomy member Olugbenga at Oculist!

OLUGBENGA has travelled the world as a bass player, vocalist and DJ, working mostly with
Mercury Prize-nominated indie rock band Metronomy, but also on projects like Solange Knowles’ US #1 album ‘A Seat At The Table’ and Damon Albarn’s ‘Africa Express’. He has also produced remixes for the likes of Laura Marling, Janelle Monae, Alt-J, Depeche Mode and the Scissor Sisters.

As a DJ, OLUGBENGA has played out at events and festivals across the UK and worldwide, performing in the USA, Australia, Japan, Russia, Italy, Norway, South Africa and more. His undoubted ability to work a crowd also caught the attention of the Boiler Room, Red Bull Music
Academy, Dummy Mag, i-D Magazine, Okayafrica, Clashmusic, XLR8R, NTS, Rinse FM, Soho Radio, Glastonbury Festival and many more.

Also joining and making her Brighton debut will be rising star Bougie Lou who’s funky house and disco blends are not to be missed

Known for warm, feel-good sets with moments of high-energy lift, he’s played across Brighton for years, including support slots for Nightmares on Wax, Afriquoi and DJ Steves from Kurupt FM, and as co-runner of local party Shake A Leg.
