Sunstroke & Plain & Simple join forces for a free Brighton Music Conference Thursday night at The Oculist, headlined by UK house and garage pioneer Grant Nelson.
Founder of Swing City Records and one half of seminal acts Bump & Flex and N'n'G, Grant Nelson's catalogue spans more than thirty years of UK underground dance music. Often referred to as the godfather of UK garage thanks to his early '90s output on Nice 'n' Ripe, he remains a regular fixture at the top of the Traxsource charts and continues to release essential cuts via his long-running Swing City imprint.
Support comes from Scott Diaz, whose productions and remixes have appeared on Dungeon Meat, NYC Downlow, Nervous, Defected and Big Love, and Eugene Glasgow, repping Nervous Records, Huge Music and Dream Soda.
Your hosts, Tom Chubb (Plain & Simple) and Jack Woodcock (Sunstroke) will open proceedings.
Thursday 21st May | 8pm til 2am | Free entry
